What We Believe

Sarah & Ace, Karen & Apache, Rachel & Mystique
Honesty + Trust + Safety = Time

Yes, we are Christians, however, our definition is "unconditional love." You will not experience us convicting those who don't share our beliefs--Christian or not...AND Natural Horsemanship or not.  We can all learn from each other and we gladly leave the judging up to God.  What you will discover with consistency and truth in our actions and our words.  Have we ever made mistakes... YES!  Who hasn't?  But, failure isn't failure unless you don't learn from it...  Then you move forward.  So... with that in mind, here is our perspective on life.  It is your free will to choose whether you agree or not...  either way... you are WELCOME here!!

Adoration (n) 1. The act of worship.  2. Profound love or regard.
  • God wants our worship to be motivated by love, thanksgiving and delight.

We love our horses. We are thankful for them & they give us delight!  Our zealous passion for our business is a gift from God.  We are immeasurabley grateful!!

  • God wants us to enjoy life; not just to endure it!

We shouldn't just endure our horses' bad behavior(s); we need to set it up so that we can enjoy them and that they can enjoy US!  If you aren't having fun, pretty WILL be done!

  • God doesn't expect us to be perfect, but He does insist on honesty!

Horses don't expect perfection either.  They are VERY forgiving!  However, you cannot lie to a horse.  They are experts on reading situations and reacting quickly by fleeing first & fighting second.  Why?  If they didn't, they would be eaten!  We cannot change 1000's of years of programming to suit us.  They are prey animals; we're predators.  We have to constantly prove to them that we are "safe."

  • God intentionally made us all different and there is not a "one-size-fits-all" approach to worship and friendship with Him. God expects unity, not uniformity. Many religions believe in the same God. What varies are the prophets. Many prophets say they can show the way, but only one, Jesus, says, "I AM the way."  Within the Christian community...again, there is not a "one-size-fits-all" thus the varying Christian denominations. We are all on the same journey with different ideas on how to get there.

All horses are also different and there is not a "one-size-fits-all" coaching method. Traditional & natural methods are both after the same results. What varies are "the prophets," if you will. Many methods use force and intimidation and mislead you into thinking you found the answers, but when things go wrong...they go REALLY WRONG!  Natural methods work with the horse to create a willing partner who WANTS to cooperate WITH you by his own FREE WILL. Within the natural world there are many clinicians (denominations) with their own approaches. However, the foundations are the same...just the teaching "style" is different. It is the same journey with different ideas on how to get there.

  • Relationships take time! Time is not what we think or do or provide, but how much we give of ourselves! Our focused attention.

John 3:16  "For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son so that anyone who believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (The Living Bible)

God took the time to send his most precious Son to be sacrificed out of love for US...   It was and still IS His Greatest Gift!
